Presbyterian Women invite all women to participate. PC(USA) women's groups have been strong and active since the early 1800s. The Idlewild group recently celebrated its 100th anniversary. Learn more about the history and missions or Presbyterian Women.

Idlewild's PW gatherings and lunch are held at the church on the third Tuesday of September, January, and April. Circles meet on the first Tuesday, October 3–May 1, for Bible study and fellowship, except where stated. Horizons Bible Study and Fall Worship at Pinecrest

Young Adult Women Fall Retreat - Nov 2-4

Young Adult Women’s retreat will be November 2–4 at Pickwick Lake. Cost is $50 ($40 if you register by October 10). Registration deadline is October 31.  It's a relaxing, rewarding weekend at the lake. Everyone will meet at Idlewild Friday afternoon at 5:15, and ride there together on the church bus. It takes about two-half hours to get there. On Sunday we will leave no later than 11:00 a.m. and get back to the church between 1:00-1:30. Bring a Bible. Bring comfy clothes, including something warm in case it gets chilly and clothes you can move in for yoga.

All women are invited to the fall Presbyterian Women Gathering and Luncheon. The presentation will be followed by lunch. Please RSVP for lunch by calling the church, 901-726-4681.

Ms. Carol Coletta is president and CEO of the nonprofit Memphis River Parks Partnership. She will present the concept that will develop, manage, and program six miles of riverfront and five park districts along the Mississippi River Ms. Coletta, on loan from The Kresge Foundation where she is a senior fellow in the foundation’s American Cities Practice, in April 2018 became the president and CEO of the nonprofit Memphis River Parks Partnership.
