Elizabeth houston
Elizabeth is our Director of Children's Ministry.
A Memphis native, Elizabeth has also spent years living in New Jersey and Virginia. She has been an active member of nine different churches and has learned much from each one.
As Director of Children’s Ministry at Idlewild Presbyterian, she continues to enjoy children of all ages. Having taught every age of church school, she likes to help and encourage the ministry of other teachers. Some of her hobbies include sewing, reading, cooking, arts and crafts, and playing the harp.
Elizabeth is married to Horace Houston, a Presbyterian minister and history teacher, and has three grown children and one granddaughter.
