Dr. Denton McLellan
Denton is a Parish Associate at Idlewild.
Denton returned to Idlewild in 2005 after a long and successful pastorate of twenty eight years at Germantown Presbyterian. He previously served as Idlewild's Assistant Pastor from 1969-1973.
Today at Idlewild, he teaches both the Covenanters Class and the Men's Friday Morning Bible Study. He also helps lead us in worship and provides gracious pastoral care.
Denton enjoys "reading, get-togethers with friends, frustrating rounds of golf and spending time at our place in Black Mountain, North Carolina."
He also enjoys his new family, from brothers and sisters-in-law to grandchildren, that he acquired when he married Mary Allie Baldwin.
