Corinne Nienhuis
Our Commissioned Lay Pastor who watches over the pastoral care of the congregation, Corinne has been part of the pastoral staff since 2000. Prior to joining Idlewild, Corinne worked on her Master's of Arts in Religion at Memphis Theological Seminary; and before that she taught upper school mathematics at Hutchison.
Corinne's interests at Idlewild include pastoral care; the ChristCare groups she help launch; Amazing Grace, a Thursday morning women's Bible study group; and Natural Spirituality, a dream group.
Outside the church, Corinne loves reading, hiking and walking (almost two miles each day), photography, knitting, and keeping up with the large blended family of ten children and fourteen grandchildren she shares with her husband Art.
